Michigan Technology Climate Survey
iLabs, the University of Michigan-Dearborn's Center for Innovation Research, conducts research to better understand the opinions of executives regarding Michigan's business climate for technology firms. iLabs partners with the Detroit Regional Chamber and Automation Alley on this annual survey of technology executives from across Southeast Michigan.
Respondents are leaders in technology firms with business activity in Michigan. Many of the firms report they have stable or growing workforces, but indicate that Michigan lags other states as an environment to successfully start and grow a technology business.
For 2010, the project will expand to include technology executives from across the state and examine opportunities for improving the environment for Michigan's technology firms. For more information on the project, contact Tim Davis at 313-593-4060, or click here to see the article in Crain's Detroit Business.
